Chief of Police - City of Cochran
The City of Cochran is seeking a highly responsible motivated individual with administrative
and technical
abilities to lead, coordinate and direct the City's Police Department.
The city is located in southeast Georgia between Macon, Dublin and Perry. With a population
of
approximately 4,455. Cochran exemplifies small-town, southern living at its best.
Cochran is the county
seat of Bleckley County and the home of Middle Georgia College
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in criminal justice or related field from an accredited college
or university is preferred; POST Basic Peace Officer certification; 10 years of law enforcement
experience
with a record of progressive advancement; and 5 years of supervisory/management
experience.
