P.R.I.D.E. Program

The Cochran Police Department is a partner with the University of Georgia’s division of the Georgia Traffic Injury Prevention Institute. GTIPT sponsors the P.R.I.D.E program (Parents Reducing the Incidents of Driver Error). CPD has 2 state certified P.R.I.D.E instructors. These CPD Officer’s partner with the Driver’s Education program at Bleckley County High School to teach the P.R.I.D.E. program to approximately 120 new student drivers each year.

This program is also available to parents and children of any civic, church, or other group that is interested in the program. Please contact the Cochran Police Department at 478.934.4282 for more information.
